Overseas Treatment

Some couples may choose to seek fertility treatment overseas, especially when considering Assisted Conception or treatment with donor eggs. This can be for a variety of reasons;

• their origins are from that country
• due to reduced regulation, treatment may be quicker or offer more options
• reduction in advertised costs
• seek treatments that are not available within the UK for legal reasons. 

For these couples, although most of their treatment will be abroad they will need part of their treatment in terms of ultrasound monitoring, or blood tests undertaken in the UK to avoid excessive travel costs.

The clinicians at North West Fertility have extensive experience helping patients who are undertaking treatment abroad, and will be able to advise you on how to chose a clinic and provide any necessary medications and local monitoring for you. We will provide you with a written report to send to your clinic who are responsible for your treatment and they will be able to adjust any treatment plans accordingly.
